Who are we?
Peak Veterinary Specialists is a small, private specialty practice dedicated to working with you and your family veterinarian to ensure your pet receives personalized, compassionate and high quality specialty care. We have been treating hyperthyroid cats with radio-iodine since December 2006.
Where are we located?
We are conveniently located at I-25 and Hwy 392 in Windsor. Our central location allows us to serve our local communities, as well as all of Northern Colorado, Wyoming, and surrounding states. We are open Monday through Friday, and are happy to answer questions about I-131 over the phone between 8am and 5pm.
What do we offer?
Our I-131 treatment program, Radiant Feline, is run by board certified internal medicine specialists. This means that our internists, Dr. Lauren Prause and Dr. Ellen Miller have special training and expertise, enabling them to best manage your cat's hyperthyroidism and the diseases associated with it such as renal and cardiac disease, and hypertension.
What makes our practice special?
Your cat will be cared for by our internal medicine team, comprised of two internists, Dr. Miller and Dr. Prause, and four dedicated nurses, Shawna, Vicki, Jessie, Carrie and Lindsey. Our practice's small size ensures consistency in the quality of personal care we provide. We treat our patients as we would our own pets, striving to make their stay stress-free and comfortable.
